Anything you want before your baby arrives


A checklist of newborn babies can help you know what you want to buy and prepare for when preparing for the birth of a baby.

Things to get for the first few days with your baby:


If you are breastfeeding, you do not need any equipment.

Some breastfeeding mothers often have the following:

  • Many wounds
  • Spray cloth
  • Breast pump
  • Dairy equipment (here are some essential instructions for the protection of breast milk)
  • Nursing pillow
  • Older organizations (If you are buying before the baby is born, buy one cup size larger than your brain size)
  • Breast Acne (lost or washed)
  • Breast sores

If you are formula feeding:

  • Many wounds
  • Spray cloth
  • Bottle with nipple brush
  • Formula (make sure you see the expiration date and spend as much as you can remember)
  • Thermal bottle carrier


If you are using reusable diapers:

  • Twelve cloths (4 or 5) or used diapers
  • 8 waterproof covers
  • Replacement pad
  • Baby oil or other barriers to prevent tumors
  • Screens, Velcro or safety pins to protect usable diapers
  • Lost shoulders or a few skirts for baby showering

If you are using lost diapers:

  • Two boxes for adult acne (it is best not to buy too much in advance if your child is older or growing faster)
  • Replacement pad
  • Baby oil or other barriers to prevent tumors

  • 8 underwear or onesies (including short and long shorts)
  • 5 night clothes (used until the rope falls)
  • 8 wide sleepers (go for those with a zipper; new ladies swear by!)
  • Five pants
  • 2 newborn hats
  • 8 pairs of socks or booties, to wear with nightwear and clothing
  • 2 pairs of scratch mittens, so that the child does not scratch his face
  • 2 cardigans or jackets, most in winter
  • A drill bag or a cold baby blanket
  • Laundry detergent for babies
  • 4 dressing gowns (if desired)


  • Three large cotton blankets
  • 8 receiving blankets (they also make clothes)

Bath time

  • 1 baby plastic (or use a large bowl in the sink, or take a baby to bathe with you)
  • 12 baths, unused under the baby
  • Baby soap or cleanser
  • Baby soft hair straighten your hair brush
  • 3 soft towels


If you are using a bed:

  • Approved mattress and mattress
  • Three waterproof mattresses
  • Adequate notes 4
  • 4 bright blankets that fit in the barn
  • Sleep bag

If you are sleeping together:

  • Sturdy mattress (not water bed)
  • Adequate notes 4
  • Three waterproof sheets under the baby
  • Bright Comforter (stay away from baby’s head)
  • Sleep bag

Other requirements

  • Official seat for infant safety car
  • A driver who is very young may sleep on the floor
  • Nails or scissors
  • Grandfather syringe survives mucous
  • Children’s thermometer
  • Eye drops or teaspoon of medicine
  • Medication for fever
  • Children’s monitoring

Good things to have

  • Edit table (or simply use a switch on top of a blanket or bed)
  • Shake the feeding chair and wrap
  • Play
  • A sling or a baby carrier
  • Diaper bag
  • 1 or 2 change pads
  • Plastic hangers for closet
  • The sun’s shade over the car window
  • 2 or 4 pacifiers (if you choose to use this)
  • Bribes and other small toys
  • Motion
  • Night light
